sun, waiting for flawless (2024), Project Arts Centre, Dublin, Ireland
Two person exhibition with artist Ronan Smyth, accompanied by a commissioned text by Francis Whorrall-Campbell and poster design by Cóilín O’Connell.
These works, which combine printed images with sculpture, feature a distinct photographic exploration that is juxtaposed with stark industrial materials, evoking feelings of both obsolescence and intimacy.
The work focuses on mechanical environments such as manufacturing sites, automobile factories, and domestic garages, which serve as sites of intrigue and re-imagining.
Curated by Rachel Botha. Documentation by Simon Mills. Find more information here.
